My PhD dissertation focuses on conceptualizing and measuring the concept of "depoliticization". This concept describes occasions in which an issue ceases to be something we discuss, deliberate and believe we have choices about, for example because we deem it to be a biological or economic fact or necessity.
Even more broadly, my PhD explores how we can measure complex social phenomena using data science methods.
